In this episode we start with a short review of John Cusack’s The Raven. Jose seems to think that it’s a low rent version of Sherlock Holmes, which seems to be the prevailing opinion. We also talk about the anime Highschool of the Dead and Cartoon Networks Young Justice season 2.
In comic book news we talk about several comics from Image Comics that are coming out including the upcoming Trade Paperback release of D.O.G.S. Of Mars. We have a brief review of Dark Horse Comics Blood Ties: Fett is Dead and Dynamite Entertainment’s Voltron Year One and Lone Ranger. And what would an episode be without some invective, this time about DC Comics Before Watchmen.
In Kickstarter news, Jose has found a new project to champion. This time it’s Tyler Kirkham’s The Monarchy
