Superhero Indie ‘Vs’
A little gem that slipped past at the Toronto After Dark Fest the film tells the story four young super heroes forced by their arch-nemesis to complete a series of deadly challenges in order to save innocent lives. Starring Jason Frost, James Remar and Lucas Till, the film takes you down a dark alley of vigilante justice and violence and never returns.
Searching the net for indi films such as these has been a passion of mine and sometimes I run into a few potentially good projects. One of them is “The Peculiars,” a local super hero story set in Baltimore, MD. The Kickstarter project (here) has been canceled for the time being but you can still receive updates as a backer.
